Yes its that time of the year to start taking care of your garden again. Spring has now kicked in and as we say goodbye to the bad weather and the beast from the east here in the UK gardeners should now be able to begin making their front and rear gardens look terrific again.
Here is a quick guide to getting going in your garden for 2018.
1. Start by tidying up. Pickup, sweep up and collect leafs and fallen branches, also start to sweep down drives and paths and be sure to clear away and salt which you may have spread over the entrances and pathways in and around your home.
2. Chop and lop trees. Yes March is a great time to chop back your trees and large shrubs. Just before the buds really start to burst cutting back trees is ideal at this time of the year as one can see exactly what branches are to be pruned.
3. Cut the grass. Yes if its a nice weekend then it might be time to start cutting the grass. A quick once over will give you chance to see the edges of your garden once more and also allow the spring time to get to the deeper shoots of grass.
