An Orangery was once found in the grounds of fashionable residences in the past but now it has become integral part of home. It is similar to green house where we can grow, not only the citrus fruits like orange and lime but also the tender plants, shrubs which need shelter from cold weather. It does add value to home and brings us more closer to nature. It’s just like having your own garden where you can spend some time as if you are in lap of nature which relaxes your body and soul in this fast paced life. Main motive behind orangery is to house these tender plants as they can die because of frost. Moreover, it is considered to be of high status to own one.

An Orangery does provide the benefit of all plantation i.e. clean air , really nice surrounding. Spend some time in there in the morning and you will really feel charged up for the whole day at work. Moreover, it also provides fresh fruits to you which are good for health and also lowers your monthly expenditure as you need not buy them from market. If production is more you can also earn some money from it. It can also be used as a kitchen garden and you can grow vegetables also. This will help you to get fresh vegetables and you need not to worry about the adulteration in food materials anymore. It also helps to recycle some waste from our homes as it can be used as compost for our orangery. We can also use waste water from kitchen in orangery . It has added value for my family as well as we feel fresh the whole day and we also feel good when someone visits our place and praises our orangery.
